Current event #3

The city of Atlanta is attempting to attract more visitors, both local and out of town. The incentives is called "Field of Dreams" and it is a developer-motivated effort to generate millions of dollars through tourism from across the country. The biggest of these fields is LakePoint Sporting Community, an ambitious 1,200 acre project which will begin Thursday. It will contain fields of play for several different sports, a suitable description for the lead backer, Bobby Cox.
The biggest question here is where it will actually work. It is a boll initiative that is costing well over $1 billion and simply seems to risky. Everything in this nature is at a decline in the current economy. Why would athletes and families make a special effort to to come to Atlanta for their respective sport when there hometown has more than adequate facilities. There is just not enough drive for this project to be successful and I predict it will be a complete failure besides for homies wit dem spare dead presidentz.
