On Friday, a local teen was hit by a car while crossing Roswell Road and Dalrymple Road in a crossroad. With more and more distractions while driving, this continues to be a problem. GPS, cellphones, and other technology offer distractions for drivers while drivers should be focusing on the road. If things like this continue to occur, it might be beneficial to limit technology that is available for cars, restricting touch screens among others not only for the safety of pedestrians but also drivers as well.
