2nd Choice Blog
Here is my view on the Singer solution:
I believe that a person should donate 15% of their annual income to charity unless you need every cent to thrive and provide for yourself and your family. 75% should go to what you need and the last 10% goes to luxuries. I feel like this is a fair way to help those in need without giving everything you've worked hard for. Based on the singer solution, which would work and completely help the poor, you would give up all the luxuries you've worked hard for and that you deserve and arrived for. In the end a simple 15% from everyone would help those in need emmensly which is all they can ask for.
