Choice Blog 2- Fall Activities

Fall Activities

In my last blog, I discussed different fall fashion trends and what's hot for this season.  While your'e rocking your new fall clothes, you need somewhere to wear them.  Fall presents many options for weekend activities.  When you're bored, grab a group of friends and hit up these seasonal activities.

Netherworld Haunted House

If getting scared is your thing, you definitely need to check out Netherworld Haunted House.  Netherworld Haunted House is a walk-through haunted house that is open around this time every year.  It is rated the number one haunted house in America and is only about 20 minutes away.  It is open pretty much every weekend from around 7 to around midnight.  It takes around 45 minutes to go through depending on how fast or slow you go through.

Uncle Shucks Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze

Another fun activity this fall are corn mazes.  One of the best corn mazes is Uncle Shucks.  This particular corn maze is located in Dawsonville.  Only 37 minutes away, you can get lost in the corn maze and have a fun time finding your way out with friends.  If you go at night, you can go through the haunted corn maze, no flashlights allowed.  Uncle Shucks not only has a corn maze experience, they also have a pumpkin patch where you can pick out the perfect pumpkin for carving and painting.  To find out more information, you can go on Uncle Shucks website and get tickets.

Berry Patch Farms

Pumpkins are the crop of fall. With Halloween and Thanksgiving, pumpkins are an icon.  Carving pumpkins, making pumpkin pies, and eating pumpkin seeds are just a few uses.  Picking the perfect pumpkin is a fun and sometimes time consuming task.  Berry Patch Farms is known, in Atlanta, as the best pumpkin patch.  They offer hay rides and many different sizes and shapes of pumpkins to fulfill all your needs.  They are open until October 28, just in time for Halloween.

With all these great fall ideas, there is no way you can be bored again.  These are fun activities for all ages.  With the leaves changing and the weather getting colder, these activities just give more of a reason to get in the fall spirit
