Current Event: Georgia's Political Vote

10/19/12

As Obamas four year term comes to a close, a new election takes place. In Georgia, it is expected that Obama will win the state of Georgia is the political race. Although, as of now, polls show that more Georgian voters are voting for Romney.

As the debates continue, Georgians ask themselves how the President will solve the problems of which they have. An issue which Georgians are concerned with is the economy, and more specifically is what will the newly elected president do to help the economy. Most Georgians agree that higher taxes and having spending cuts is a great way to support our economy.

A question Georgians are asking themselves is "will either Romney or Obama give the USA a better start than Obama did four years ago?" Georgians and many other citizens from other states question if either politician is capable enough to run the country.

Of course Obama did not give us the "change" many of americans were expecting four years ago. As a result, the higher votes for Romney has presented itself. Although each candadite has issues and values which can hurt and support the US. Obamas speech for change is always encouraging to the people, yet  non change came last year. Many believe we are practically in the same situation as America was four years ago. Romney's political and economical plans are appealing to citizens, yet many believe Romney is using America like a game of monopoly. His economic plans seem reasonable but Romney has to run America as a country. Many this as a lack of confidence and determination, which is why a theoretical guess of who will win shows Obama winning.

As many political debates have their "funny moments", this years vice president debates are nothing short of immature. Both candadates snicker at nearly every remark made by his opponent. The people hate to see this childishness from our possible future presidents. Also, one notable recurrence is Romneys VP, Paul Ryan, constant lying, overstatement, and understatement. While this is politics, and it is quite known to the public that most politicians cannot be trusted, Ryan turned many voters away from him with incorrect statements. One statement made by Ryan was the possiblity that Americas debt could be eliminated within four years of Romneys presidency.
